Kennett five all played for Lids Missouri Bulls

November 18, 2011

Daniel Lockhert made it official today.  He will be playing college baseball on the Division 1 level when he heads to the university of North Dakota next fall.

With that signing, Kennett has five players in the last two years that will be playing at the division 1 level which is absolutely amazing.   Andy Lack signed with Southeast Missouri State last fall and Cameron Wallace signed with Murray State last summer.

Both are doing very well this fall for their respective teams as both expect to make their teams as freshman.   Lack will be primarily a middle infielder where he excelled for both Kennett, HS and the Missouri Bulls.   Wallace looks to split time between the pitchers mound and the outfield.

Last week Logan Dollins and Adam Grantham both made it official as they signed to play next season at Arkansas State.   Both had opportunities to play elsewhere but chose to stay close to home and play for a solid program down in Jonesboro, Arkansas where I am sure they will make an immediate impact.

All five players have played for the Missouri Bulls.  Dollins, Grantham and Lockhert will play again this summer for the Lids Missouri Bulls.   The Missouri Bulls will begin their third summer as an organization and will field 8 teams from ages 11u through 18u.

Our mission has always been the same.  We want to give players the opportunity to play baseball at the highest level and compete in front of college and pro scouts during the summer.   That means traveling throughout the midwest to some of the best tournaments.   "Each of these kids had talent when they joined us, all we did as an organization is put them in front of college coaches every weekend and made sure they competed against other players who are headed to play college baseball as well.", said Campbell, Bulls Executive director.

"Aaron New and his coaching staff have done an outstanding job with these kids since taking over at Kennett", said Bulls head coach Mitch Wood.   Coach Wood and Coach New have been friends for years as New played for Wood years ago.

No doubt playing for two of Southeast Missouri's best highschool coaches has helped each of these kids prepare for the next level.   That and playing a high level  of competition during the summer has added up to success thus far for the Kennett five.

Good luck to all of you.  Congratulations on your success.  No doubt the entire Bulls family will be watching and rooting for all of you at the next level.
