Siebert to play baseball in Tennessee at Freed Hardeman

Griffin Siebert isn't sure if he'll play second base or shortstop when he takes his talents to Freed Hardeman Univeristy in Tennessee.  He is just happy to know he'll be playing baseball after he graduates from Notre Dame HS in May.

"I'm excited about signing with Freed Hardeman," Siebert said.  "It's a little smaller University and I liked that.  The coaches watched me workout and liked what they saw.  Its only a few hours from home and that's something that was important as well."

Siebert plays both second base and shortstop in HS and in the summer for the Bulls so either position won't be a problem for him.

"He has done a great job for us as a 3 year starter,"  said his high school coach Jeff Graviett.   "They are getting a solid player both in the field and at the plate.  He has a high baseball IQ and is just a great kid."

He'll make it offiicial as he signs during National Signing day January 15th when he and his Bull teammate Josh Haggerty ink their deals.
