Anderson is the 3rd Bulls player to sign with Three Rivers

Jordan Anderson has been a four year starter for his high school team at Cooter.   His dream is to play professional baseball someday.   He took his first step towards that dream as he signed Monday to play with Three Rivers College in the fall.  Jordan joins Bulls teammates Jamie Brant and Neil Johnson who are both freshman this year for the Raiders.

"We know we signed a very good prospect in Jordan and believe he has a chance to become an impact player in our program here at Three Rivers College.  Jordan has been at the top of our recruiting board for quite some time and we feel he is one of the most talented prospects in our area.  We want to thank Jordan, his family and both his high school and summer coaches for helping us identify, recruit and sign Jordan.   We look forward to watching him play spring baseball at Cooter, HS and with the Missouri Bulls this summer," said coach Joe Scarano, assistant baseball coach and recruiting coordinator for Three Rivers College.

Jordan joined the Lids Missouri Bulls his sophmore year in 2010 and opened some eyes.  He moved primarily to them mound last summer and posted a 3-2 record with a 3.1 ERA in 9 appearances.   In his 34 innings he pitched Jordan struck out 21 and walked 10.  He will be on the mound again this summer.   "We're excited to have Jordan back again for his 3rd summer with the Bulls," said Todd Pennington, new Missouri Bulls 18u head coach.

"We are excited for Jordan as he continues his baseball career under Coaches Burkey and Scarano," said Glenn Campbell, president of the Bulls.  "Jordan has gotten a lot of interest the last few years during the summer as he really focused on pitching.  I think Three Rivers is a great fit for Jordan and there is no doubt they are getting a quality arm and even more quality kid."

"I'd like to thank the Missouri Bulls program along with coach Wood and coach Campbell for helping Jordan these last two summers.  Without the Bulls I'm not sure we'd be sitting here today,"  said Jason Anderson, Jordan's father.
